The Deb Rhymer Band is a Victoria British Columbia Canada favorite. The band includes Canadian music veterans Deb Rhymer on vocals, Kelly Fawcett on guitar, Lee Worden on bass guitar and Phil Wipper on drums. The appears often at night clubs and pubs and have appeared at numerous festivals in Canada and in the US. The band was nominated for Best New Artist for the Canadian Maple Blues Awards in 2018. The band’s second album “ Don’t Wait Up” was a semi finalist in the International Blues Challenge for best self produced CD. The CD has received a lot of airplay in Canada, US, Australia and Europe, reaching the Top 10 in Canada and the Top 50 Contemporary Blues Albums in the US. Three singles on the CD have reached the Top 10 in British Columbia.

 

Deb struts the blues with a sultry, uptown West Coast sound. Drawing on the classics, from the heyday of the Chicago shouters to the strong song writing women of today’s blues scene, Deb and her top notch band deliver a funky, soulful and sophisticated blues brew for your listening and dancing delight.
