DEB RHYMER

Vocals

Deb was born and raised in Victoria, British Columbia and made her debut as a vocalist with the rock band Hostage. In 1997 she began fronting the blues band No Fixed Address. Her love of the blues had begun! Known for her dynamic voice and unique bluesy style, Deb has had the opportunity to work with some of Canada’s best musicians. Her first CD was released in 2006 and received excellent reviews. The new album – Don’t Wait Up features Deb’s original songs and has received rave reviews and continue to dominate the music charts. Deb has been featured for many years at the various clubs and festivals and the Deb Rhymer Band hosts one of the most popular and long standing blues jams in the Pacific Northwest - Sunday Blues Services. Deb is also a founding member of the Victoria Blues Society.

KELLY FAWCETT

Guitar

Kelly Ward Fawcett is a versatile guitarist and powerful vocalist who has led his own bands and worked as a sideman for many other prominent Canadian musical acts. He has toured North America extensively, with international sojourns to Hong Kong, China, the Caribbean and Europe. Growing up in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Kelly cut his teeth playing with Kelly Ward Fawcett“The Prime Minister of the Blues” Dutch Mason and blues harp legend, Rick Jefferies. He has shared the stage with Buddy Guy, Jim Byrnes, Amos Garret, The Odds, Shari Ulrich and Sarah McLachlan as well as touring with Mobadass (Earl Pereira of Widemouth Mason), HB Concept, Rita Chiarelli and the Twisters. A former instructor at the Selkirk College professional music and digital media program, Kelly is also an award wining songwriter, composer and engineer with his music being featured in both film and television.

LEE WORDEN

Bass

Gordon Lee Worden is a multi-instrumentalist / singer with over 4 decades of professional touring and studio experience. He is equally at home on guitar, bass, keyboards or drums. From 2008-2019 Lee toured and recorded as the lead guitarist for the legendary Ian Tyson. He resided in Nashville, TN from 2014-2021, playing countless shows in the honky-tonks of lower Broadway, and stages and convention centers throughout the southern US. Previously a member of  Nick Gilder and Sweeney Todd, he has performed as a sideman with Al Harlow, Mike Reno, Corb Lund, Ryan McMahon, Tom Russell, Fernando Verela, Kim Wilson and Bobby Rush.He’s appeared on recordings by Crusoe, The Travelling Mabels, Babe Gurr, Aaron Pritchette and Ian Tyson. Numerous TV appearances on CBC and CTV. Lee fronted “The Great Wide Open” with Mike Norman and Chris Aiken in 1998 and is one third of The Gords (www.thegords.com), alongside Gord Matthews (kd lang, Ian Tyson) and Gord Maxwell (One Horse Blue, Chilliwack) He spent 2017-18 playing the blues with The Andy T Band featuring Anson Funderburgh and Alabama Mike. Now residing in Ladysmith BC.

PHIL WIPPER

Drums

A veteran of the West Coast music scene, Phil has established himself as a go-to drummer for many. He’s played on countless stages and recordings. Within the roots and blues scene, he’s been lucky enough to share the stage with a lot of the great players, including Amos Garrett, Rita Chiarelli, Nigel Mack, Ellen MacIlwaine, Rick Fines, Jimmy D Laine, Johnny V, David Gogo, Steve Kozak, Steve Pineo, Crystal Plamondon, Summer and the Sinners, Jeff Plankenhorn, Doug Cox & Sam Hurrie, and Mark Crissenger. He’s also a member of three-time Juno-nominated children's performers The Kerplunks, as well as the ever popular Vancouver Island favorites, Johnny Inappropriate and Wunderbread.
